Polyurethane systems for the production of moulded foam upholstery have long been an integral part of the furniture market. The ever-increasing demands for comfort and design require ever new solutions in terms of flowability and hardness. Compared to cut foam, a moulded foam solution offers greater freedom in design and creates more durable furniture through constant seat hardness.
Different densities and hardnesses can be set and even combined with each other. Various mould materials for the production of highly sophisticated moulded parts are possible, from wood to epoxy to aluminium. Depending on requirements, moulded foam systems can also be set to be flame-retardant or particularly low-emission.
