One house. One system.

From the roof ridge to the basement ceiling: scroll through the house and see where spray foam shows its strengths.

Station 01

Roof & Sloped Ceilings

The foam fills every rafter bay seamlessly – with no cutting, no stuffing required. For optimal thermal insulation, energy savings, and better summer heat protection.

Recommended: open-cell (ocSPF)λ 0.037–0.039 W/(m·K)
Station 02

Exterior Walls

Seamless insulation for maximum energy efficiency – as cavity-wall insulation in double-leaf masonry or full-surface in timber-frame construction. The foam bonds directly to the component and closes every joint.

Depending on construction: oc- or ccSPFwindtight without a membrane
Station 03

Interior & Partition Walls

Sound and thermal insulation in one step: the open-cell structure absorbs airborne sound, fills service cavities without settling, and noticeably reduces noise between living units.

Recommended: open-cell (ocSPF)Sound insulation included
Station 04

Floor & Basement

Basement ceiling and floor insulation with closed-cell foam: protection against moisture, heat loss, and mold growth – pressure-resistant and unaffected by dampness.

Recommended: closed-cell (ccSPF)λ 0.023–0.027 W/(m·K)
Station 05

Airtightness

Spray foam doesn't just insulate – it seals. The closed building envelope reduces drafts, improves indoor air quality, and often makes separate airtightness layers unnecessary.

Technical Advantages

Why Spray Foam?

Polyurethane spray foam combines high insulating performance with a property no rigid insulation board can offer: it conforms to the building component – not the other way around.

✓

High Insulating Performance

Thermal conductivity as low as 0.023 W/(m·K) (EN 14315-1) – slimmer constructions with the same insulation value.

✓

Air- & Windtight

Insulation and air sealing in a single step – without membranes, tapes, or connection details.

✓

No Offcuts

The foam fills every geometry seamlessly. No thermal bridges, no material waste.

✓

Fast Application

Several hundred square meters per day – sprayed, cured, and ready for the next step.

✓

Long-Lasting Protection

Over 50 years of service life – dimensionally stable, settlement-free, and without loss of insulating performance.

✓

Lightweight & High Adhesion

Low self-weight, direct adhesion to the substrate – ideal for renovation and existing buildings too.

Same Insulation Value, Less Build-Up

Required insulation thickness for a U-value of approx. 0.20 W/(m²·K) – typical reference values in centimeters

Product Overview

Two Systems. Every Application.

PLIXXENT develops custom PU systems. Two system families are available for spray foam insulation – depending on the component and requirements.

Open-cell spray foam between the roof raftersProject Example: Sloped Roof Renovation
System 01 · open-cell

ocSPF – The All-Rounder
for Interior Fit-Out

Thermal conductivity λ 0.037–0.039 W/(m·K)
  • Vapor-open – allows moisture to dry out
  • Excellent sound absorption thanks to open-cell structure
  • Low density (approx. 10–20 kg/m³) – minimal structural load
  • Water-blown – high yield over large areas

Ideal for: sloped roofs, cavity filling, interior & partition walls, service cavities

Closed-cell spray foam on the underside of a floor in a crawl spaceProject Example: Crawl Space Floor Insulation
System 02 · closed-cell · PLIXXOPOL® SF

ccSPF – Maximum Performance
Plus Moisture Protection

Thermal conductivity λ 0.023–0.027 W/(m·K)
  • Closed-cell structure – unaffected by moisture
  • Compressive strength 150–400 kPa depending on application
  • HFO blowing agent: ODP = 0, GWP < 2
  • Also acts as a vapor retarder and wind barrier

Ideal for: walls & ceilings, sloped roofs, floors & crawl spaces, flat roofs (with protective layer)

PUre³

Designed with sustainability in mind: the PUre³ family offers PU systems made from up to 94% reused, recycled, or renewable raw materials – combined with climate-friendly HFO blowing agents.
